random

just because a well- established/successful singer has got a crazy, huge fan base and sold millions of albums doesn't mean that its A-okay for him/her to have pitch problems while he/her performs live on stage. isn't it suppose to be that way? or the opposite?

what about those "freshies" who are trying super duper hard to make a break into the showbiz?
they can't afford to be pitchy. if they do, no one would vote for them and they would end up getting brutal comments from the judges, on national TV!
the horror they would have to face won't end just yet cos a gazillion other people would take turns being either simon, randy or kara!

then is it true that only a famous person can act as if he/she is a superstar and those who already have their own fans can't go around holding their fans' hands while performing because they simply don't have that rights yet cos they are so not famous and successful???

back to the first part of this post.
having said that, i still think it's so not cool for such an experience singer to make such a huge mistake. it's a major/ huge problem when such a mistake is done throughout the whole song.
don't you think so?

p.s i had just heard one such artiste doing one such mistake while performing on live TV. and i was begging for her to stop singing cos my ear was in pain after listening to such a "drag-ful" performance. she was yelling and screaming throughout the song, as if she was performing to a crowd of deaf audience. no offence. i didn't meant to disrespect the hearing-impaired, but i was just trying to explain the whole ordeal. this is such a long post-script. hah. a sudden feeling to blog about something and i could only think one, this and only this. ah, not just that! my mom called me an hour ago. someone, could be a group. yes, a group of assholes broke in to my house last this morning, 2 in the morning! OMG, scared the crap out of me. MY goodness! thank goodness for MIKE! i guess he scared them away. my parents and sister could have got hurt cos they tried to get in through the back of the house = kitchen and they stole a few knives! thank god he was fierce and brave! lol. ah. love my baby so much! i'm so scared and worried. i hope everythings alright *fingerscrossed*

Favourite Quote of the Week

"Ain't nothing in this world for free, and it blows my mind how so many fools just don't get that."

I was not a frequent Facebook-er. Facebook-ing's definitely not on the top of my list of favourite things to do to pastime. not until I came here in Penang, living here for months without my TV, piano, my mum's car(hehe) and my doggies. Having said that I am still not keen or eager on this, the whole Facebook craze that's been going on for sometime.

What made me hate FB was the fact that random, lame people started tagging me to join those lame, ridiculous and super "cina" groups they created- only god knows why the hell they spent so much of time tagging random people. and then i'd get junk mails from FB notifying me about these group invites. it's really annoying and irritating! what the hell.

and now some "people" from USM created a super lame and ridiculous group on FB. as i viewed one of their creators profile picture (the name of that group got me really curious of how their creators would look like)OMG he's not even close to what i believe people would call as "leng cai". goodness gracious.
can anyone be more lame than them? somebody? anybody? to enlighten me, please. ::sarcasm::

p.s. "i was wondering what's so great about him. maybe he is really somebody for all nobodies. sarcasm. hahaha", will be my favourite quote of the week. credits to Bowie, "lecturer" of BBT101 and cjpet, the founder of School of Humor.

often people questioned my punctuality. why am i always the earliest. yet not a slight feeling of remorse i get from them. they don't seem to feel remorseful for making people to wait for them. all they did was asking how early i was and then apologised and the next thing you know the whole situation repeats itself once again.
i, on the other hand, hate to wait for people and hate the sight of people waiting for me. and that is why i have to make sure that i'm punctual all the time. that is why i constantly keep track of my time.
having said that, i am not saying that i'm the most considerate one. time is gold. why should we waste those previous time waiting and doing nothing?
if you are going to be late please make sure, at least make sure to inform the people you are going to meet. if i didn't constantly message them i would be waiting like an idiot constantly looking at my watch dreadfully waiting for that person to appear. for god's sake a simple, a short message will make everybody's life much easier.
and what's so difficult to tell someone the exact time you will arrive? you don't need statistics to help you estimate the time of your arrival. a rough estimation will do.
i can go on and on and on and on about this but i won't. it'll be so dreadful to write about it. it's weird to come here and learn to tolerate other people's incapablity to be on time. at the end of my three years living here i'd tell you the moral values i learnt was tolerance of impunctuality. hah. what a huge joke. and i have to admit sometimes i just want to make others wait for me(on purpose) just so they can have a taste of what i've been experiencing. haha. ::evil grin::

Triple Treats

I watched 3 movies this week (Alice in Wonderland, Rumor Has It, and Greenzone)

the animations were kinda cool and i like the story. sort of different from the book but i liked it =)

I have 3 quizzes to study for next week and 3 tests the following week.
3 chapters of Organic Chemistry to study
3 chapters of Statistics to study
and 3 assignments to hand in at the end of next week
amazing huh
 what can i say?
three is my lucky number?

i have had double treats too..
two meals of banana leaf set in two consecutive days.
one was totally an authentic indian cuisine and the other was a fake one (vegetarian). heh

i dislike "salty" things

i don't get why people can be so "salty" to this extend. fyi, if you did not get the term "salty", it literally means super kiam siap( thrifty in hokkien).

if i were to have a car in Penang i'd have drove to Eastin Hotel myself.
some people have the advantage of living here and no doubt these people could drive there. but, they  refuse to do so!
I'd never said I'm going to carpool for free. neither did I mention of carpooling with them! likewise they never even offered.

I have no plans to take the shuttle provided because I don't wanna walk 100m, in highheels and a dress, so i thought of taking a cab there with the other non- Penangites. that was my initial plan.
and then they decided to carpool with us. can u imagine five people in a car and the cab driver? the reason why i wanted to take a cab is to have a comfortable ride there.
if they don't wanna take the shuttle too then drive lah! why so kiam? it's just 10 bucks per cab and u wanna squeeze in because you can save money on petrol and the parking ticket? gosh.. Eastin is approximately 5 mins from campus only. how much will it cost u?

honestly not only me who think so. i saw how others reacted when they found out the same thing. i guess our minds clicked for this one time. lol

If i knew this earlier i would have plan to go there myself. save all the trouble and headache. i only reached out to those without transport cos i'm facing the same situation as them too.

it rained and i thought i was dreaming

I've been anticipating this rain, for like a century finally it came i think someone must have danced that dance they dance as an appreciation to the rain god ???! what dance was that?
whatever it is it brought such a huge relieve to everyone in Penang. so shall i rephrase, "we've been anticipating this rain for like a century" duh
must say my room is still so freaking warm and i still wake up sweating like a pig and it hasn't been more cooler
ok, i'm not being grateful now but what the heck!
i know what i need
A FAN!
fyi, my room has a lousy "canopy" fan
it's a "canopy" fan because people only uses it on canopies! you know, those fan that turns 360 degrees in a super slow speed.. and i can only feel the cooling effect every 6 seconds yes i've been counting
i would like to take a picture of my poor "canopy" fan and show it to you but i didn't wanna wake my roomie up
giving her a heart attack is definitely not in my list of things to do
she's a good roomie don't wanna lose her LOL
nowadays all i wanna do is to take a bath even after i showered i still feel like showering AGAIN

gotta stop here
have to attend stupid ass TITAS (tamadun islam and tamadun asia) shit!

p.s I want to watch Valentine's Day!!!! the weather is making me even sulkier.... shit shit shit
