uncle and roommate (not my roommate actually- his name is pretty hard to pronounce it right, so we decided to call him roommate!) came down to Klang yesterday to have Bak Kut Teh. and so we (April and I) took him to our fav shop in Eng Ann. they were kinda fascinated and loved the "dried" Bak Kut Teh, i thought so. heh.
and then I took them to Snowflakes in Subang for desserts, in the afternoon. hah. they can eat man! especially Uncle! before leaving Sunway they each had a bowl of noodles from Esquire Kitchen.
By the way, uncle and Yejuan missed Klang Station's stop because these two fellas didn't "realise" they had already reached Klang. LOL. I saw the train stopping but I saw no familiar face coming out of it. and so I thought they must be in the next train. as I was waiting patiently in the car then came a call from uncle saying that they were now at Teluk Pulai's station. Lol. I couldn't stop laughing in the car. I don't know why it's so funny to me but it sure does tickle my funny bone every time I think about it. hah.
and I can't help but to mention it in this post. sorry uncle=P
I met yun Ming in Sunway too! what a coincidence right?

It's a Pink Day!
a peculiar day, I must say. coincidently, every one was wearing either pink or red. not every one but 10 of us wore something pink to class. hurts James's eyes when he saw these pictures. He hates pink to the core. tsk tsk tsk...
btw, it was Prof Farook's last lecture with us and so we decided to take a pic with him. He has a real good sense of humour. and very funny, I must say. but, a lil naggy sometimes. heh.
3rd from left: Dr Farook
p.s. was kinda embarrassed for the group pic we took in front of the whole class. heh=P
whatever! at least we know how to have fun. heh.

yet another disgusting, unfortunate event
I am so freaking tired but I still feel the urge to blog about the disgusting nature of "humans" who do not acquire brains/common sense in the art of disposing their rubbish!
They are totally unable to differentiate as to where is the correct place to wash their dishes and dispose their freaking leftovers in the correct place!
They are THE MOST PATHETIC humans I've ever met in my entire life! oh, I've not met those so-called "humans", however. but that won't be a problem because clearly we(I) know who are those idiots!
They are just plain idiots who washes their oily dishes in the bathroom because they don't know how to use the freaking PANTRY because they are either STUPID or BLIND to locate the pantry which is merely 30 steps away from the farthest room on my floor.
Because of their uncivilised way of disposing their leftover food, there's a foul smell along the hallway and I could smell it as I walked out of my room.
not to mention the bathroom, OH MY GOSH! even the bathroom has that smell!
and the water tap on the sink I used in the toilet just now was OILY! DISGUSTING! and I touched it without knowing it!
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW...........
They even left their food wrappers sprawling on the floor in the pantry to feed the cats! and now the pantry is as smelly as every where else except for my room! THANK GOD for that!
I have no grudge against cats but somehow I hated them ever since I stepped foot in USM. they are everywhere! on the cafe's table scavenging food, on the ironing board, on the chair.. they're just everywhere! and the worst part is they peed and pooped wherever they like! you can see
cats' urine along the hallway and once they shit on my friends slipper!
p.s this is a true event which happened minutes ago and I did not exaggerate. believe me because I witnessed and experienced it beforehand. If you were in my shoes, I bet u would agree with me.

READ THIS AND U'LL LOVE HER!
Merit comes from making right choices
Musings by Marina Mahathir
Living the faith is not just about avoiding what is prohibited, but more so about doing the right things where morals and ethics are concerned.
IN this month of Ramadan, one naturally focuses on questions of faith. And indeed, with several controversies in the papers, we can’t escape it at all. Every day our lives seem to be increasingly circumscribed until the question of choice in our lives becomes irrelevant.
There are some people in our midst who seem to think that the only way to fulfill our religious obligations is by removing any sort of temptation or challenge in our paths.
Since we are prohibited from drinking, the answer is therefore to remove any form of alcohol from our sight so that we may never have the opportunity to be tempted by it.
Or, to disallow young Muslims to attend events sponsored by alcoholic beverage companies.
The assumption is that by the mere presence of liquor, we would abandon all inhibitions and imbibe.
This suggests two things. One is that the religious education of the young must be so inadequate that they feel totally uninhibited when faced with what they should know is prohibited.
Secondly, our faith is essentially a weak one since it can never restrain us from breaking rules.
There are other faiths that have food prohibitions as well. Many Hindus and Buddhists don’t eat beef. There are people who take no meat at all.
Yet, living in a world of carnivores, where the beef burger is ubiquitous and most people are oblivious of others’ dietary restrictions, they stick to their diets throughout their lives. Do they have stronger faith than Muslims?
I’m trying to imagine a world where our faith is supposedly secured by having absolutely no temptations or challenges at all.
We can ban every form of alcohol (including medicinal ones), we can cull every single pig in the land, but does that mean we will be able to float about blissfully certain that we now have a place in heaven?
In countries where alcohol is completely prohibited, an underground system invariably springs up and people
drink much more, perhaps because it is illicit.
People who are used to ham made from turkey meat and bacon from beef tend to assume, when they travel to other countries, that all the bacon and ham there are also made from the same meats.
Children who have never seen pigs gush over the cuteness of those little pink animals with the funny snouts.
But faith is about more than just prohibited drinks and foods. It is also about morals and ethics. Every day we are faced with choices that challenge our sense of morality.
Do we pay a little extra to the officer in order to expedite our applications? Do we beat the red light, thus endangering other people, just because we are a little late? Do we keep quiet about a mistake we made and let others take the blame?
It is our faith that is going to provide us the answers to these questions. And sometimes these questions can be difficult to answer. Does that mean therefore that we should just get rid of them so that our faith need never be tested?
It would be nice to get rid of corruption completely so that we never have to deal with it. But do we hear of anyone calling for a ban on it? Or mobilising religious officials to catch anyone giving or receiving a bribe?
If our faith directs our way of life, then ethical and moral questions should dog us every day. How is it that those calling for people who drink to be whipped have nothing to say about people who neglect to repay loans? Or who leave their children in destitution?
How is it that the voices that bay for rock concerts to be banned are not just as outraged by the existence of the homeless and the hungry?
Faith, as someone said, needs to be exercised regularly. Otherwise it gets flabby. In what way can it be exercised if we think that living in a religious utopia is what we should aim for?
Is it better for our faith to be exercised by the trivial rather than the big moral questions of poverty, illiteracy and violence?
God said in the Quran, “if it had been His will, He could indeed have guided you all”. (6:149)
We could all be perfectly good if He
had so willed it. But we are given
choices because that is how we earn our merits. We have the opportunity to think about what we should do and then decide.
In that way we have the chance to think about what ethics we want to apply in our lives. Take away that choice and we never have to think about morals and ethics. What sort of human beings would we be then?
p.s I adore her column so much! She says the right thing at the right time. and this time, BINGO! I love those sentences I highlighted. not being a racist here because the message she's trying to convey here is universal. and I truly agree with her.
Oh my gosh, you can never imagine what actually happened to me yesterday in Queensbay!
I was humiliated by a stupid, freaking staff of GSC. He actually stopped me from entering the cinema and asked only ME to show him MY FREAKING IC! What the HELL!
I thought I had some hearing problem so I gave him a "WHat THE HELL" face because it is totally ridiculous to assume that I am under 18! but he wasn't joking, nope he was not and I wasn't having any hearing problem. nope nope. but he was clearly sick yesterday!
yet another ridiculous event. I know I'm petite but I ain't a child and certainly don't look like one!

this is my five minutes of ramblings. I'll allow myself to ramble, curse, brag, say all I want with no boundaries and no limitations. If you do not wish to read I wouldn't even mind because it wasn't meant to be read. That is why I am using such small fonts. I just need to get all these negative thoughts and anger out of me so badly.
I was kinda proud of myself for having such good patience and will power to control my anger and sullenness and sulkiness. I was so afraid I would spoil Sue Ann's big day because of what I have had been through. Everything went well yesterday except for that blardy, idiotic, stupid, contradicting lecturer of the most idiotic, stupid subject on earth, which is LKM400. I was so close to burst out in class when she asked the class, in a sarcastic tone, why she was playing that stupid rubber band while we were out, in front presenting. I hated the smirk she had on her stupid face. so stupid I wanted so badly to either storm out of the class or yell at her but I would be the only one affected after that. and I didn't wanna create any scene. Oh my, I have only one minute to go. and I hate her braggy speech. Endlessly bragging about her son's BM. blah blah blah blah. so what if your son is good in that subject. Is he the only in the world who can actually score perfect points in that subject?? what about other subjects? let's say english? keep that to yourself ok! I don't wanna know, not interested and I don't care because it is none of my business. I just wanna pass this subject because I hate it and I don't believe you actually created this subject to achieve that so- called 1malaysia bull shit! it's all crap! Come on, you can't possibly convince me about that shit. no one can and no one will. you are so much older than me but you still can't see that RESPECT is all we need. and religion is tearing us apart not our skin colour. because each skin colour practice one kind of religion that is why we can't get along! do not ever bring this up to me. the reason why I wrote it down is because I wanna forget it. so please don't mention it in front of me. relieved.
