*updates*

miniature version of Lemon Meringue Pie that I've made 2 weeks ago.

and

we have had a girls-day-out on Labours' Day. we have not participate in extreme activities before so i thought of introducing them to sKytrex- since they have not heard of it also. hehe.. i don't think i update anything on that. anyways, SKytrex is getting more publicity than before. more people know of this place and guess what? they have just launched their third extreme course few weeks ago. and guess who i found working there? KPA's ex-ajk kitar semula .. oops, i forgot his name.. haha..
at first, i was quite skeptical about my idea. i was worried they wouldn't like getting all sweaty and straining their muscles. because it seemed like i was the only one looking excited and going ecstatic about it. hah. in the end, everyone seemed to have enjoyed it and they all agreed that the last flying-fox obstacle course was the BEST! heh

and April did not complete the course! hah.. i have to mention it here because she was the only one in our group who never completed the course. LOL...

by the way, she still owes everyone a drink.. don't you dare forget that "oldie".. heh heh.. lol

Mims, this is for you! heh

not my expertise

it's clearly me fault, me ended up like this.
guilty, for not being able to clear up this mess.
guilty, for not being honest with myself.
guilty, for trying to be nice.
guilty, for making it worse.
guilty, because i never learnt my lesson.

I could have..
been honest right from the start,
told the truth,
been honest with myself,
fight for what i want, what i desired,
said no in a polite way. (but i've said no a million times, and they just don't get it!)

"it" was just an acquaintance, for god sake. i knw i'm heartless- sue me!
i know everyone deserves a chance, but who's giving me one?- i, too, deserve a chance.

To make you feel my love

When the rain is blowing in your face
And the whole world is on your case
I would offer you a warm embrace
To make you feel my love
When the evening shadows and the stars appear
And there is no one to dry your tears
I could hold you for a million years
To make you feel my love
I know you haven't made your mind up yet
But I would never do you wrong
I've known it from the moment that we met
There's no doubt in my mind where you belong
I'd go hungry, I'd go blind for you
I'd go crawling down the aisle for you
There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
To make you feel my love
The storms are raging on a rolling sea
Down the highway of regret
The winds of change are blowing wild and free
But you ain't seen nothing like me yet
There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
Make you happy, make your dreams come true
There ain't nothing that I wouldn't do
Go to the ends of the earth for you
To make you feel my love

of life and you-topia

sometimes i really can't help myself from thinking so hard. everything seems so uncontrollable in my life. not just my life, everything around me. though it has nothing to do with me I still take it as if I was apart of it. and if I am really apart of it, I'd ponder and ponder, and questions like why would ultimately pop up into my head making the whole situation even worse.

all i want is a simple life. i can never understand the meaning of "competition" although i am in one. life is a competition. it shouldn't be but it definitely is. no matter how many books, documentaries, life journals i read and watched, i still failed to understand the meaning of it and it's existance and it's importance.

Mary-Ruth sent me a short text she quoted from a book, "The Lessons of History".
"......so the first biological lesson of history is that life is a competition. Competition is not only the life of trade, it is the trade of life- peaceful when food abounds, violent when the mouths outrun the food. Animals eat one another without qualm; civilised men consume one another but due process of law.."
from the bottom of my heart, i am still in denial. i never agreed in the theory of survival of the fittest. probably in the animal world it does exist. we all know that. but we are not them. i respect the existance of competition in the animal world but not the human world. we do not necessarily need to be like them(in a civilised way) and we are still able to survive, or at least that's what i thought it should be. but sadly it ain't gonna be that way. never is and never will.

probably this is what most people(everyone) would tell me. this is life. but that doesn't mean i have to follow and practice all these so-called laws of nature to continue surviving in this world. as long i play by my rules and hold on to my principles, my life and everything that revolves around me will eventually be my utopia.

the text message ended with this. ".. cheers, to us who are trying to live right and succeed without backstabbing and greed.."
thanks, MR for such a thoughtful message=)

i was struggling to complete this post because i simply couldn't find the right words to describe how i felt. and i never want to miss a single detail because it strongly represents me. that's why it took me so long to complete this post.

I'm back!

I was back from kk just merely a week ++ ago. being back in klang made me realise how much i missed kk. i guess i was too sick to even think of it in the beginning. when i got better, i can't stop thinking about the food-poisoning, the flu, the hike to Mt Kinabalu's summit, Pei Yan, the Brady Bunch family(whom we tried so damn hard to avoid back in Mt Kinabalu), the German guy(haha), the cute european guy and Downi(our mountain guide), the Singaporeans, the fierce "principal", Monopoly, Joshua and his Dad.... heh..

when can i ever go on such vacation again? seriously, i hate going on a trip organised by tour companies. i prefer planning everything on my own. this way i'll get to know the place much better. i find this saying very true, when in Rome, do as the Romans do. isn't it? lol

KK is a very nice place, Sabah too.. i'll definitely visit Sabah again.. so many places i've not been to yet.. the islands especially and Sepilok(of course)

So many things happened to me while I was there. First, "auntie" visit. then, I got food-poisoned and fever(two days prior to our climb) and thank god i recovered before the climb. thanks to Panadol Acti-fast. I never thought i would get sick before the climb::sigh::

I expect myself to get at least a headache or flu after the climb. but not before.

And then I got flu and sore-throat. back from KK, muscles ached(expected) and cough persisted. lol... what a trip!

but it was definitely an unforgettable one. I must be suffering from amnesia if I ever forget about it. heh.

Climbing Mount Kinabalu will always be an achievement for me. not trying to boast over here k.. it was something that I never imagine myself doing. even people close to me never expect me to have the courage to conquer Mt K. what the heck! i've made it to the top. end of story. heh.

Pictures will be up next!
